MODE 2 @ lazarides inc gallery

So I was walking through Soho on my lunch break friday and noticed that one of my favourite artists, MODE 2, was showing as lazarides gallery....I dived straight in and was really pleased to see not only some amazing work by MODE 2, but also some work under construction - Oh and I also got to meet the artist too. Not bad considering.....So who is MODE 2. Well I first heard about mode 2 when I was a young whippersnapper growing up. I managed to get hold of a copy of a book called "spraycan art". I tried to graf a bit myself, but I wasn't a) good enough or b) a fast enough runner so I decided it would probably be best if I was just a spectator. I own a nice print by Mode 2, its the picture featured, title is "kneel". Well, if you get the chance go check out the show I think it is running for the whole of April and if your feeling flush, a spare few grand maybe you can pick up an original....or even better commission him to do an original.

Someones read my newspaper

I am a great fan of the unqiue are and lately I have found in in abundance on the web. I never tire of new and interesting thing to tell the silent public about....So this art project takes eye movements and repoduces them onto the original stimilus. I find it fascinating because you can see the amount of work the numan eyes has to do to read one page of a news paper. The artist Jochem Hendricks is fond of producing work that challenges the perception of the user and is often found on websites documenting the mind. Either way you should check this out. Its pretty darn interesting especially the diamonds made our of deceased birds....woah.

Wow  - What can I say this website is exactly what art toys should be all about - Free cool little monsters that you make for yourself. I have to say that my favourite is undecided. I love them all....Inspirational and achievable, affordable and delicious....Glue and scissors to the ready....I just got me a new toy....Print, cut and admire...... its never hard getting to grips with this Stick lupes new album and cut away. mad nails for this cobbler

So i was trawling the net and I found this crazy ass artist from Albania....Hes a cobbler by trade and can render anything in nails ---- witness the full story here . I reckon he should bring out a line of hot soles. I would take a pair.
