Location, Location, disaster

Location, location, location has finally had to admit it has played a massive part in the housing crisis. The two presenting experts, after years of goading the British public into putting their money into bricks and mortar in order to gain a quick profit had a 90 minute special last night. I found this shows attempts to provide credit crunch property advice to the unwitting public still desperate to buy laughable.

The fact that they are advising anyone to buy a property at all in this market is ridiculous....but I guess the show must go on.....

a) The presenter was so desperate for the couples not to buy the houses or if they did buy, to insulate his/her own conscience he put in bids that were so outrageously low the vendor would have to have just had a lobotomy with a chainsaw to agree....Classic comment "We'll will offer at 130K and if they reject tell them we will come back in a month and buy it for 125K" - Me says too smart by half......and when they are on the street we will buy the shirts of their backs....you know...bargains a bargain......

b) These outrageously low bids were indicative of the actual personal views of the presenters...They are sharks and would undercut someone just to serve their own conscience....as long as I can get a desperate person to sell a property to someone so they don't lose money for the contestant.....Hello? Question? What about the person you have just ripped off...I mean it takes two to tango...

c) Someone watching this may have taken this attempt to create a faux bid as a genuine attempt to get a bargain and impersonate this maverick attitude further influencing the decline of the British property market. Its a funny situation when a property show is

I don't know why but watching this show last night made me wonder at the level of intellegence on these shows. I recognise that one mans distress is another mans opportunity...but on national television for 90 minutes....Come guys...it's a little bit heartless.....I am almost getting some Lee atwater vibes here....Funny really.
